How do I add the connector to Claude?
Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, with the URL https://www.answe.com/mcp. Works on every Claude plan, no authentication needed.
How do I add it to ChatGPT?
Turn on Developer mode (Settings → Security and login), then create a plugin from the Plugins page with the URL https://www.answe.com/mcp and authentication set to “No authentication”. Requires Pro, Plus, or Business.
Do I need an Answe account?
Not to ask a question, share it or read its answers. You create a free account only when you claim it — that puts the question on your link and connects answers to your inbox.
Does it work in Claude Code and Claude Cowork?
Yes — install the official Answe plugin (github.com/answecom/answe-claude-plugin). In Claude Code it even embeds the question straight into the website project you have open; in Cowork you get a live preview and a shareable link.
Can an agent use it on its own?
Yes. The connector is a plain MCP server: ask returns a share link and an answers token, get_answers waits for and reads the answers, and notify_url delivers every answer as a signed POST. Developers: see the docs.
Do I need a website?
No. Ask for an RSVP, a sign-up, a vote or a questionnaire and share the link by email, chat, or QR code — the question is a live page on its own.
Can I edit a question the assistant asked?
Yes. After claiming, it’s a normal Answe question: edit the copy, add fields, attach automatic replies, take payments, or turn it into a full booking flow.
